a woman of peace (new years resolution)
her life is surrendered to God. she’s learning to trust Him with the outcome and she anticipates His plan is better. she tends to the hearts of loved ones. petty details decline in value to her. love matters more. she’s eternity minded. she’s interruptible. she sees everybody as humans who need love and want value and applaud. she knows everything needs to be covered with forgiveness. she’s slow to be discouraging. she considers when it’s appropriate to become angry. she’s way past appearances and pretense. she surrounds herself with compassionate contentment.
I MISS CHELSEA.
well darn.i was at her house tonight. we watched pride and prejudice and talked about deciphering the lord’s will and her dad said “kira, show molly your new trick” and kayleigh said “kira, thats really like risky or something?”. and i laughed and loved it. but i missed her all along.
a few months really isn’t that long though? and god is great. and we just have to just love each other across the world. its fine :)
we are beyond pumped. our video made the front page of the world race site. wow! famous!

this old guy just called it “starbuck.” my grandma calls it that, too. i love it.
i’m sitting at starbucks, in istanbul, writing a facebook message to my new turkish friend. i like it. i’m sipping hot chocolate that anthony bought me, and a postal service song is playing.
they will see us waving from such great heights.
